Extraction: Steam distillation of the fresh flowering tops produces the highest quality oil. However, the stems and leaves are often used in distillation.
Characteristics: Rosemary essential oil is a colorless or pale yellow liquid with a fresh, strong, herbaceous scent, with a woody undertone.
